Unstuck Games is a very small studio built on a simple observation: a lot of good games are stuck. Buried under ads, trapped on a dead platform, abandoned halfway, or so good at one thing that nobody ever built the rest of it. We take them apart, keep the part that was loved, and build something new out of it.

What we actually do

Find a mechanic that deserved better. Work out why it worked. Then build a different game around it — new premise, new constraints, new jokes. If you can tell which game it came from, we failed.

Every game names the one it came from. We call it a tombstone, not a lift.

How they get made

Fast, in public, and with an unusual amount of machine help. The games are designed by a human with opinions and built alongside AI that does the typing, the sweeps and the thousand runs nobody has time for.

The AI is in production, not in deployment: content is generated, tested and frozen before it ships. The games themselves run on maths and dice, in your browser, with nothing phoning home.

The house rules

1The free game is the whole game. Not a demo with a fence around it.
2One ad a day, if you want God Mode. After that there is nothing else to sell you.
3No energy, no lives, no premium currency, no pay-to-continue.
4Ship it when it is fun and not one minute before.
5Don't bullshit the player.

Most of these games are not about winning.

They are about what happened. A ferret who stole your phone charger and slept on the runner. A holding that spent a week pretending to be sheep while merchants quietly bought the valley. You do not optimise these. You watch, you prepare, you write it down, and you find out who they are.
